Is a modern software for managing the flow of data between LIS systems and medical instruments as well as software supporting the analysis of patient results.

Thanks to the implementation of the HL7 standard and popular communication protocols, it ensures integration between various laboratory and hospital systems and medical devices by providing the data necessary to start the analysis, and then automatically downloading and sending the results. Thus, it eliminates the need for manual data input by a laboratory worker and reduces the potential risk of an error. In addition, the system speeds up the decision-making process by pre-processing the results and automatically verifying them with a set of configurable rules. The application also offers monitoring of instruments based on the collected metrics.



A wide library of ready-made drivers for medical devices allows for quick and efficient implementation of communication with instruments from various fields, such as: biochemistry, pathomorphology, microbiology or molecular biology. The system enables communication via file exchange (e.g. CSV, TSV, PDF, XSLX, XML,JSON) as well as popular protocols such as ASTM, MLLP, HTTP (S), SSH or SOAP. The results can be transmitted both in a discrete form and in the form of entire documents or images.

For advanced integration with some modern systems, WebDMI offers an extensive and clear REST API.


The system enables quick and automatic processing of results using clear rules, e.g. rounding off numerical results, generating comments, converting error codes, classifying results in defined normal and abnormal ranges, and automatically verifying them by applying user-defined criteria.

For extended user scenarios, the results processing logic can be extended with rules defined in the ECMAScript language, which opens up new horizons in data processing.


WebDMI has a Quality Control module with the most popular Westgard rules and uses several types of moving averages (eg SMA or EWMA) to pre-filter collected data. In case of exceeding the normal ranges, it offers alarming actions such as the suspension of the automatic verification of the obtained results, the suspension of communication with the device or notification of the instrument’s operator.


The software provides mechanisms for monitoring communication with instruments. The user has at his/her disposal a set of predefined workspaces, which can be freely filled with statistical widgets and charts presenting current trends in the system. The application collects potential problems coming from various sources in one place (such as a list of samples waiting to be sent to the instrument or the results captured  during processing) and provides convenient mechanisms for their quick analysis or informing the user about the problem.

The application supports solutions for multiple monitoring templates, which greatly facilitates preparation of tools  for different  users and roles.


The innovative architecture and flexibility of the system makes it an ideal solution for both small laboratories and large hospital networks. The system is perfect as a single-site tool that is fully installed on a single PC, but also works successfully in client-server architectures and cloud solutions, providing multi-site access.

A modern and configurable user interface supports the efficient work of the laboratory through the clear presentation of relevant data. The selected settings can be saved as ready-made filter sets so  depending on the scenario, you can quickly switch between them.
