SoftCytogenetics provides a comprehensive solution for cytogenetic laboratories. It offers the possibility to create user-defined protocols; real-time tracking of samples during processing; auto-generating reports based on rules set by the user and predefined parts of the interpretation. 

For each type of test performed in cytogenetic laboratory, the functionality of monitoring the cell culture process is available. The functionality allows to verify the status of processing cultures at each stage of the test, also for the purposes of sent consultations.

Integration with cytogenetic imaging systems allows to easily capture results and include images on reports. Concomitant testing such as FISH (fluorescence in situ hybridization) and CGH (comparative genomic hybridization) is also fully supported by SoftCytogenetics system.
