Imaging is accessible via SoftSystem’s SoftMedia image management system, which enables users to add multiple images with defined attributes and categories. SoftMedia enables clinical personnel to attach stored documents or images to specific orders and other patient records, which eliminates the need for bulky paper files while providing a single source for all related patient information. The imaging system can also be used for consult samples (blocks or slides) to document materials received.
